EmbraceRF is a new device that provides patients with concerns about sagging skin, loose underlying muscles and / or excess fat accumulation in the face and neck a minimally invasive treatment option. EmbraceRF is an advanced technique combining skin laxity treatment and fat remodeling for patients who are not yet ready for, or not interested in, more invasive procedure such as a facelift, but are looking for comparable results. EmbraceRF creates a new treatment modality in facial cosmetic surgery, known as, subdermal adipose remodeling of the face and neck.
What is subdermal adipose remodeling?
Subdermal adipose remodeling technique uses heat to safely ‘mold’ fat deposits in the neck and face, while simultaneously tightening the skin. The EmbraceRF device essentially combines two treatment modalities into one: FaceTite and Morpheus8.
What is FaceTite?
FaceTite is a procedure for improving skin laxity in the face and neck using non-invasive RF (radio frequency) energy to dissolve subcutaneous fat. It is effective for treating areas such as the cheeks, jowls, forehead, nasolabial folds, and chin. It produces instant results, which will continue to improve over subsequent weeks as collagen production is stimulated.
What is Morpheus8?
As a subdermal adipose remodeling device, Morpheus8 is used to contour the face by coagulating the fat under the skin. The effects of the deeply penetrating treatment are very uniform leaving a bare minimum amount of damage that heals in a matter of days with no scarring.
What is the EmbraceRF procedure like?
EmbraceRF is an in-office, same-day, minimally invasive procedure. EmbraceRF is performed under local anesthesia, removing all of the risks associated with general anesthesia. After the patient is relaxed and properly anesthetized, the FaceTite applicate is deployed to heat the underlying fat deposits. Once the fat deposits are mailable, your cosmetic surgeon gently molds and contours the fat to the desired result. After the FaceTite procedure is complete, the entire face and neck is then treated with Morpheus8 to further tighten the skin and improve fine lines and wrinkles on the skin’s surface.
What is recovery like after EmbraceRF?
After the EmbraceRF treatment, the patient is released to continue recovery from home. A compressive dressing is placed around the face and neck to give support while you heal. The compression dressing is kept on continually for 48-72 hours and should be worn at night for 1-2 weeks. The compression helps provide support and reduce swelling. Although there is always a risk of bruising with any procedure, most patients do not experience this after EmbraceRF. In addition, most patients only require simple over the counter pain medication for pain management.
